Barrie was someone who could make you smile and often made himself the subject of his amusing tales – one memorable story was about his cooking prowess – mistaking washing up liquid for oil to cook his piece of fish. Another was the story of Grandma vacuuming under his bed and bumping some bottles of home brew which set off an unfortunate chain of events. He will really be missed by us all
Our deepest condolences and thoughts are with the family
With warm regards from Helsinki, Finland

Barrie (dad) was the most beautiful caring, supportive n loving father in law,I loved him dearly.
He loved our gatherings n always looked forward to a nice meal and see his grandchildren n great grandchildren.
He loved walking around my garden n seeing the chooks n just the quietness of the country.
He was a wonderful babysitter n looked after Nicholas n Sarah in school holidays n would take them places n just love the company.
Sarah was the little girl he never had and when Nicholas was born he was at the hospital to see him n me within hours.
We will miss u terribly dad and u will be in our hearts forever,I have picked a spot for you and to plant a tree that attracts birds so we can sit n have a beer with you and talk about things.

Goodbye Barrie. Rest in peace. A truly wonderful character. Cast in the same mould as his father, our beloved Uncle George
Our sincere sympathy to all the family in this sad time.
Very best wishes.
Frank and family.
Baz. The wonderful times we spent with Terry will always be remembered very fondly by us. The stories you used to tell us, the time you rang me to ask if dishwashing detergent was harmful to you because you cooked in it instead of oil. The many times you came for dinner and the laughs we all had. Your sense of humour always made people laugh and to this day I still use some of your sayings. You were a kind, gentle, honest and caring man and it has been my pleasure to have known you for over 40 years. Thank you for your friendship. From Carrie, Mark, Steven and Michael Fountain. You will be greatly missed by all who knew you. Sleep peacefully. R.I.P😢💔

Farewell brother Barrie. This sad loss brings back memories of childhood days in Woolgoolga and our holiday house at Red Rock where we often shared times with visiting relatives – lots of swimming, fishing, eating, board games ( by the light of the kerosene lamp) and laughs. Deepest sympathy to all the boys & their families. He will be missed.
Goodbye brother Barrie. A sad day for all the family.
Lots of great memories of our childhood, brought up by
wonderful parents.
Farewell Uncle Barry. You were a gem. Beautiful person with such a kind heart. So much like Dad! You will be greatly missed by everyone who knew you. I have fond memories of you that i will cherish forever. May you rest in peace. Condolences to Steven, Timothy, Rodney and families
Hi Fran. I am so pleased you left me a note. I would love to get in touch with you. My number is 0411816894. Just letting you know I watched Bazz’s service today whilst I was at work. I thought it was without a doubt the most beautiful, heart-warming and special way to honour such a sweet, gentle and funny man. I am crying now writing this as I was today watching. I lost touch with Baz because I had wrongly been told he had passed several years ago. I wish that hadn’t happened. I don’t know how to contact Corrie either. I have shared the news with a few of the old football mates and they may be more helpful. Please give me a call. I do have a card for everyone here and will send it to you via the funeral home in the hope they forward it to you. We, Mark, Steven, Michael and I share your sadness. R.I.Pdear Baz. 😭💔
What beautiful words Francis. 😊
Rest in peace Uncle Baz
We were happy you came to visit us all yesterday with your magpie friends as we enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the home you lived in for over 50 years, and we shared a final cheers to you and listened to stories from your many years with your lovely Florence and Rodney. You will be dearly missed by us all.
Love your nieces, great nieces and great nephew, Karen, Michelle, Tyler, Abby and Jay 🤍
