So sorry for your loss. Unfortunately I am unable to make it in person today.

Jack was a real and genuine person. I knew him across 3 Gaols and he never changed. A great man, inspirational leader and teacher. He will be sorely missed.

RIP Jack.

Mr Pav, I haven’t and never will I forget how good you were to me. You are just perfectly imperfect.
I admire that you would never take a back step for what you believed in. That you always had time for your staff and gave your time so freely.
My first Gov you were, and still talked about to this day, you were and will always forever be in my memories

Maria Frazer & Steve Wilkinsonsays:

RIP Jack. Forever in my memory. You had my back during a difficult time. I remember your cheeky sense of humor. Firm but fair. You were the best and have left your mark on us all. I’m sure you will be running a tight ship in Heaven. Rest easy Boss.

To Denise and Family,

Unfortunately I missed Jacks funeral as I was overseas and I am sitting here now listening to his funeral. Jack had so much respect for Don Rodgers so I am so pleased he got to speak for him.

I work at CSNSW and had the honour of working with Jack. One of my fondest memories of Jack was at the conferences I used to organise for the Executive. Jack one year was the Dining In President at the formal dinner and Mr Rodgers was quick to take the gavel off him and the whole room would be in laughter. I remember after dinner he had to leave to iron his uniform for tomorrow.

Jack was a true gentlemen. I remember sitting with him at the informal dinner one of the conferences and he gave me some advice that I will carry for life.

Thinking of you all and sending huge hugs

Good bye Jack, It was a pleasure Sir x
