Margaret passed away peacefully at Lismore Base Hospital, aged 91 years.
Beloved wife of Les for 65 wonderful years.
A devoted and much-loved mother of Mark, Janette, Cheryl and Denise, and a caring
mother-in-law to Elizabeth and Rodney (dec).
Cherished grandmother to Nicholas, Samuel, Michaela, Michael, Emily,
Rebekah, Elliot and Mitchell, and loving great-grandmother to Ellie and Aiden.
Dearly loved sister of Jim (dec), Gerald (dec) and Brian, and a loving sister-in-law to
Betty (dec), Patricia, Marie, Joyce and Barney (dec), Ray (dec) and Marj (dec),
Fay and Bill (dec), Ken and Raema, Lyn and David.
Margaret will be fondly remembered by the extended Perkins and Donaghy families and by her many friends.
Funeral Details
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend a Requiem Mass to celebrate Margaret’s life at Our Lady of Help Christians Catholic Church, South Lismore on Wednesday, 7th January 2025 at 10.00am,
followed by burial at Lismore Lawn Cemetery, Skyline Road, Goonellabah at 11.30am.

Sending condolences to the Perkins family on the sad passing of Margaret. Lovely memories of Margaret . As a friend of Janette, Margaret always had a smile and a kind word for us.

Margaret was such a beautiful lady with a heart of gold. We had the pleasure of having Les and Margaret as our neighbours. She wasn’t just a neighbour, she was family and we loved her dearly and she did to us. My heart broke when I heard of her passing. Sorry I cannot be with you today, but each and everyone are in my thoughts and prayers today. Hold onto the wonderful memories.
