RIP Merve Condolences to all the family.
What a wonderful life you lived uncle Mervyn. Always happy and full of fun. My heart felt sympathy to the Lorraine all my cousin and families.
Sure hope we all met. In heaven what a family we’ll make.
Know I care and am thinking and praying for you . Love Marilyn (WA)
Uncle Merv always had a special place in my heart. Always fun loving and interested in people. He was a beautiful caring younger brother to my dad. He was the best man at his wedding and loved to tease mum but also had a deeply caring side. When our dad realised that our mother had breathed her last, Uncle Merv walked through the door and they fell into an embrace. While he was upset that he’d missed saying goodbye to mum and said, “I knew I had to get up here early!” He still shepherded dad out into the garden. I guess it was dad’s darkest hour (his Gethsemane) and Uncle Merv stayed with him. Thank you Uncle Merv! We look forward to our great family reunion in that better place. Condolences to Lorraine and all the family.
I have celebrated the life I have shared with uncle Mervyn over the years. At his cattle farms. Also in Lismore at Didaem St when we lived with Grandma. Alstonville also holds many fond memories . He looked out and stood beside his older siblings and there families as they faceted life’s ups and downs . Pouring an extra portion of love and laughter.
Thinking of you all today as you say farewell to a Great Man .
Love Marilyn. Stafford
A beautiful tribute. Sincere condolences to all the family.
Rest in peace Mervyn.
Mr Martin it was a pleasure meeting you and getting to know you over the years with Janene and Debbie. I will always think of you as Janene’s cheeky Dad who always had a smile and a sparkle in his eye……. May you rest in peace and your family and friends continue to remember you with loving thoughts and memories as I will. Condolences to all, love and best wishes xxx Toni Pattie (Janene and Lindsay’s High School Friend)
