In Tony’s business dealings he was always honest and straight forward, a gentleman who went the extra mile to help others. He was meticulous and kind to others and many people have contacted his family and spoken of the loss they feel. He will always be a beloved brother and friend.

Tony (Anthony) Walsham was a caring brother to me and our sister Janno (Jannette). He always made time to see me, often driving from his home in Casino to Brisbane, when I came over from the UK. I remember a time when we were young and he helped me against bullies in the playground, a big brother looking after his younger sister. He worked hard in his model railway business and gave many in that area loads of advice and great service. Our family will miss him very much and are grateful for the kind, comforting words from his many friends.

Tony, believe it or not, had a very soft heart. He once wrote in a Christmas card ” This time last year I had no idea you were just around the corner – Lucky me. Just talking to you makes my day….Thank you so much for making my life more fulfilling than it otherwise would have been.” Often I had to remind him of this card!!!!!
