Ray will be sadly missed. I shall miss our phone calls. He was my big brother. He never got round to making that last visit to see us.

Natalie + Eleanorsays:

To all the family and friends we are heartbroken with our shared loss. Ray aka Santa brought joy to all of our lives and helped shaped me to the person I am. I can only hope he is having his beans and toast with Lenore now and brewing some cider.

MARK JAMES SEYMOURsays:

Although an uncle far away, and seen infrequently, Ray was an inspiration, taking his career to many places and it was a pleasure to share occasionally with Ray and Lenore.

Ray and Lenore RIP

Caroline Seymoursays:

Many thanks for the live stream. Ray was remembered very fondly by his elder step brother, James, who taught him to build and fly a kite. They reminisced warmly about this special time together more than 70 years later when they spoke on the telephone only a few months before James died in 2017.
Uncle Ray was truly a gentle man. RIP

Jane Seymoursays:

I feel privileged to have watched Uncle Ray’s celebration of life today. This is from Somerset , England, UK.

I was his step niece…

I remember Uncle Ray with fondness as a child, on visits to his father, my grandfather’s home.

I spent a most lovely few days with Ray & Lenore at their home in Greymouth, New Zealand. They were very kind & treated me as their own.

Consequently, my memory of Uncle Ray is in both senses, of a truly, Gentle – Man…..

Thank you Uncle Ray, I would have loved to have known you better, but am very pleased you had a loving adopted family in Australia.

Best wishes, Jane Xx
