Aged 77 Years
Formerly of South Grafton and Inverell.
It is with sadness that we inform you that Bev passed away suddenly
in the Gold Coast University Hospital on Friday 13 December 2024
after a short illness.
Beautiful wife of Peter Correy for 55 years.
Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Katrina (Decd),
Phillipa (Pip) & Ross Clements, and Fiona & Joe Fayyad.
Adored Grandmother of Molly, Hugo and Anabelle.
Loved daughter of Donald & Betty Stewart (Both Decd).
Daughter-in-law of Peter & Jean Correy (Both Decd).
Bev was a friend to, and adored by, many.
Peter is taking solace in knowing that
Bev and Katrina are together again.
Heartbroken beyond words…
Funeral Details
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of the life of Beverley Rae Correy to be held at the Christ Church Cathedral, Duke Street Grafton, on Tuesday 7 January 2025 commencing at 11:30am.

When you are nearing the end of the line, you learn to accept sad news about dear friends. However Peter’s message about Bev came as a body blow.
It was one week to the day since Peter, Bev and I savoured a seafood luncheon spiced with reminiscences at the Harbourfront Restaurant on an idyllic Sydney summer day.
I had caught the train from Moss Vale and we seized the opportunity to go down memory lane of Grafton Cup stays and Royal Randwick gatherings.
I have met many wonderful people during the fortunate career I have experienced in racing.
But I have never met a nicer person than Beverley Correy.
