Bridget Marie, My Benedict.
In a short span of time you had a remarkable impact on my person and outlook. You swept into my life, riding the 20s’ wave, as a fellow student, high spirited, very intelligent, beautiful, and deeply caring. You captured the essence of a truly good human, and I know that you took great care of your fellow good human pack, as well as the world you lived in, including all of its creatures, elements, and wildness. I am so grateful to have been part of your pack, and to have made so many wonderful memories with you. Our time together was truly the best year of my life. From the hug we shared touching down on the ice, to the hug we shared when we departed on the coast, I remember all of our time vividly, with great reminisce. You are forever in my heart and I shall carry you with me in spirit on all of my travels in this world. I will definitely be catching you for another tea party when we are together again. I am sending as much loving kindness your way as I possibly can during this transitional time, Bridget. To make sure all bases are covered as you boldly depart this world, I hope you don’t mind that my friend and healer will also perform a Phowa for you, to support your transition and enlightenment.
I really loved you Bridget, and will continue to always. Our friendship does not end here, you are forever with me.
With all my love,
Lorna Louise, Your Loops.

Ursula Racksays:

I cannot believe that you are not with us anymore. I still have the keyring you gave me at Scott Base because I swapped place with you that you could go with the second PCAS group down to the ice to catch up with friends and family in Christchurch.
This is now 10 years ago and still I have you since then every day with me.

Amanda Gilligansays:

Dear Jenny & David

This is a tribute message Patricia Stacey sent via Parkview Funerals, asking that I pass it on to you on her behalf:
Regards, Lisa.

My contacts with Bea were few and brief, but the impact of those moments are indelible on my mind. Her vivaciousness ,quick wit and all knowing piecing eyes that sparkled while giving you her full attention, always made me walk away feeling I had just been privileged to the “wow” factor of life ! A rare joy. I am grateful to have you for crossed my path .Thank you Bea. Be at peace. Regards,
Patricia Stacey.

Dear Parents of Bridget
It is with the deepest sorrow to learn of the demise of Bridget, a most beautiful soul. I have had the fortunate getting to know her well while on an expedition on a boat together with Lorna, James and Nicolette.
Her friendliness and her passion in life and in her profession were infectious. I will always remember her with fondness and may she Rest in Peace.
