Tribute to Col

I may not be able to be here in person today, but I wanted to share a few words in memory of Col.

Col wasn’t just Scott’s dad to me he was a man whose kindness and strength left a mark on everyone who knew him. He carried himself with quiet dignity, always with family at the heart of everything he did.

He lived a full life as a devoted husband to Linda, a proud father to Rod, Tracy, Kerrie, and Scott, and as a grandfather and great-grandfather whose love will carry on through generations. That kind of legacy is rare and precious.

What I’ll remember most is Col’s down-to-earth nature, his warmth, and the way he made people feel welcome. He had a way of reminding you what truly mattered, family, honesty, and looking after one another.

Though I can’t be here to farewell him in person, I’ll be raising a glass for Col today. He will be missed deeply, but his spirit and love live on through his family, through Scott, and through the countless lives he touched. Linda you have all my love I’m sorry I couldn’t be there. I say goodbye with a tears in my eyes but happy I knew you Col.

Rest peacefully, Col.

To all of Col’s family,
Karina and I send our condolences and our best for the future. I worked with and for Colin for a good while in his Logging days in Mallanganee.
It’s funny but I was only thinking of him and Linda the other day so we are both sorry we missed his passing.
