Dear Hayward family, my sincere condolences to you all on this very sad occasion.
John was my very first manager, as he employed me at United Permanent in Lismore straight after finishing year 12 now 40 years ago, something for which I am forever grateful to him. I still fondly remember my days there with John’s cheery demeanour and his smiling face, and hearing his ‘KB’ ( or KB Gold) nickname for me. 😊❤️
