I love you Farvi.
Thankful for all the wonderful memories we had together. You’ll always be my best mate.
May you rest in peace until we meet again <3
I’m so sorry I couldn’t see you again Uncle David, may you rest in peace, with lots and lots of love.
Two words come to mind when I think of Dave Johnson.
GIVING – i’ve never known a more generous person. Fro the time we met him , every time we saw him, he was wanting to give us something- to me, my husband, our 4 children, the entire neighbourhood He would literally give you the shirt off his back.
KIND- He was forever thoughtful of other people. Wanting to help others in the community in any way he could.
We need more Dave Johnson’s in our world.
I get the feeling he’ll be around Suffolk Park forever watching over us all. Cheering us all on .With a Reschs Pilsener in hand 🙏🏻✨
David and Joy lived opposite my mum and dad’s house in Steel Street, Sth Granville. I was train mad as a kid. David took me to work with him occasionally on steam locos. If just shunting, he sometimes sent his fireman home. He’d fire and he let me drive. I was about 12 at the time.
Mel was always my little girl and still is.
Was so good the family move up here. Lee and I benefited greatly from his love of frangipanni. We have many planted around our farm. I also benefited from his collection of rope from the beach.
Everytime I pick up a length of Parramatta rope, I always have and always will think of David.
David is looking over us.
Joy, Mel and Deb, we are here for you always.
