Am so heartbroken and saddened by the passing of my dear friend. Kris blessed my life with such a deep, extraordinary, loving and supportive friendship. I will forever hold her place in my heart. May you rest with Trev now in such an abundance of peace. Heartfelt condolences to her loved family #flyhighKris xoxoxo

Clare Lockesays:

Kris was person of immense joy, calm, intelligence, intuition and compassion. She was cheeky and a little mischievous, too, with a great sense of humour. I loved her smile, loved to hear her laugh. Working with her, I admired her theological depth, her ability to get to the heart of scripture and share her knowledge with passion. She was so incredibly creative, with a sort of serene, fearless flow about her. Even when she was sick, she walked through life with vivacity and warmth. Kris supported others with kindness and wisdom, and was unafraid to tell the truth. She was respectful, dignified and courageous. I will miss Kris but am so utterly grateful that I had a chance to cross paths with her. I know her family and friends will miss her very, very much. Kris, thank you for being such a beautiful bright light in this world. May you be welcomed and held forever in God’s loving embrace.

Melissa Borichsays:

It is with a heavy heart that I write this message, but I know that Kris would not want that for me. I only had the pleasure of knowing Kris for a short time, but in that short time we shared some wonderful, insightful, heart filled times together. From the moment I met Kris I felt that she was a treasure of a person, she radiated love, compassion and kindness. I am so grateful for our time together, shine on my dear friend, with love and gratitude, Melissa Borich

Anne Victorsays:

A surreal farewell to a beautiful soul, Kris, whose spirit will linger in our hearts forever. Your work and dedication was artistic and creative, thoughtful and responsive. May you be blessed in peace and love forever – what a pleasure to have worked with you. What a loss we will all feel, love from Anne xx

James Bradleysays:

Thank you Kris for your guidance, support and prayers. You were a true shepherd and disciple of Jesus. May you rest forever in the comfort of the Lord.

Danielle Longsays:

Sending prayerful support to Kris’ loved ones at this difficult time of immense grief and loss. Kris was such a thoughtful, gentle woman – who was always so generous with her time and expertise. I always enjoyed working with Kris, so incredibly knowledgeable, patient and kind. Her smile was contagious, her warmth and compassion so genuine. Vale, dear Kris.

Dolores MAitlandsays:

Kris always impresed me with her gentleness and deep faith , her ever smiling face and endless patience . Although our encounters were always work related
in the areas of Religious Education, Catholic Identity and more , it was always a joy to be in Kris’s presence and utter pleasure to work with her.
May dear Kris rest in peace.

Mandy Leape-Jarvissays:

I worked with Kris when she was working in the Lismore Diocese and part of the RE team. I was one of the many RE co-ordinators that attended the professional development opportunities organised and directed by Kris. As a leader in this space, she was dedicated to promoting catholic education within the schools of the diocese. I remember her great smile and an infectious giggle and the many love filled stories she told about her family.
I met Kris again when she took up a position with Brisbane Catholic Education and I was out of the APRE role and back in the classroom. Again, there was the same big smile, same dedication and obvious, deep faith.
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Kris. May she rest in peace.
My sincerest condolences to Kris’s family and friends. May her memory live on in your stories of her.
Mandy Leape-Jarvis
