I am saddened to read of the death of Mr. Bartlett. He was my favourite teacher at Alstonville Central School. I have thought so much about him over the years. I am just so sorry I didn’t visit him, to tell him how much I loved and respected him. He was such a role model.

My condolences to David and the rest of the Bartlett family. Mr Bartlett was the best teacher at Richmond River High. I never heard a nasty word about him. He was a man I had extremely high respect for, and that’s a lot coming from me. I went teaching too, and am now retired. I’m sure I learned some teaching skills from Mr Bartlett – more than what we ever learned in our University training. Believe it or not, but I was a model student in his class. RIP Mr Bartlett.
