We had some good times together he told me I was like the daughter he never had I will miss him dearly Love you Max
Grandpa Max was a kind and loving man, someone who made people feel welcome and cared for, even in the simplest moments.
Although I only had the chance to visit him once, it’s a memory I’ll always hold close. He took us through rural Queensland, driving from town to town, sharing stories and bits of history along the way. You could feel how much those places meant to him, and how much he wanted to pass that knowledge on.
I’ll always remember him as someone who appreciated life’s quiet pleasures too, like a good glass of whiskey and good company. There was a warmth about him that made those moments feel special.
Even though our time together was brief, it left a lasting impression on me. Grandpa Max showed kindness, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the world around him. That’s something I’ll carry with me.
He will be missed, and remembered with love by all of us.
