My sincere condolences in the loss of your dear mother Val.
My memories of Valda were of early times when she visited my mother Muriel Navin (Livingstone) who was Allan Livingstone’s sister. They used to discuss dresses and sewing as well as the problems of life over a cuppa in the kitchen. Sadly I missed most of the chat as I was still at school and arrived home mostly as Valda was leaving.
While she went through difficult times during her early adult life her family changed her life into one to be envied.
