Team Lifeblood - Lismoresays:

We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jamie, a much‑loved regular plasma donor at our centre. Jamie wasn’t just someone who donated; he was someone who genuinely gave — through his kindness, his presence, and his sincere interest in the people around him.
Softly spoken and always polite, Jamie had a gentle way of making everyone feel valued. He never hurried through his visits. He asked about our lives with genuine curiosity — how we were going, what was happening in our families, and how things were across the team. These weren’t routine questions; they were part of Jamie’s thoughtful way of connecting with others.
Many of us also knew that Jamie’s generosity was shaped by his own life experiences, including his son’s journey through cancer. That part of his story made his dedication to donating — and his kindness toward others — all the more meaningful.
Jamie donated plasma, but what he truly shared was warmth, compassion, and a genuine interest in the people he met. His presence brought something gentle and good into our centre, and his absence will be felt by all of us.
We are grateful for every visit, every conversation, and every moment he shared with us.
May he rest peacefully and may his family and loved ones know just how much he meant to our team.

Carolyn Bellsays:
