Am going to miss my best Mate of many years together π’
Sad loss. An old central mate and a friend from Nambucca when he was residing there. RIP Billy.
Will be unable to make the funeral but no doubt it will be a good send off.

To our uncle Bill
Thank you for the love
Thank you for the laughter
Thank you for your service
Lest we forget
Bill was my best mate.
I first met Bill when we were both cops stationed at The Rocks police station, Sydney. I had just been transferred from Woy Woy and going through some family issues. Bill took me in and we both gelled as we were also Vietnam vets. We instantly became good mates. I was deeply saddened when I received the news of his passing. In the future I intend to visit his grave and give my respects. All my condolences to Sue and family. Bill will be deeply missed by me. See you in the after life my warrior friend. LEST WE FORGET.
Farewell Bill. Until we meet again old mate. Such a sad day for us all. Rest In Peace.
Thank you for being a great stepfather. My childhood was a happy one, & you played a huge part in that. You were a loving father, and extremely funny!
You will always have a special place in my heart & memories.
Love you Bill xx

Love you Bill !!
I had the pleasure of working with Billy in the late 1970’s at Phillip St Police Station (no.4). He was a great bloke and a character. Often thought about Bill over the years. RIP Billy Babbs.
I too had the pleasure of working with Billy ’77-78 at No.4 (Phillip St) A good mate for a Pro, and a pleasure work with. My sentiment for his family. RIP Billy. πππ²π
Will miss you so much my big brother.
The laughs, the love, the bond we shared. Until we meet again. You will always be in my heart “Billinodrink”.
Saddened and grieving your passing Bill, brother of mine. I will miss your cheerful phone calls, laughter and also your life-long teasings. I will love you forever and look forward to meeting you again.
Anni.
Sad to hear this news. I knew Bill thru the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s ( great time in all our lives) he was a best mate of Mike (Mick) Stephens from Sydney, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour/Nambucca – Mike Stephens ( died 2008 in Lismore).
I’m sure they will have a lot to catch up on.
Take it easy. RIP Billy Babbs.

Rip dad will miss our chats and love you always
Dearest Billy
Once met never forgotten.
It was 17 years ago David introduced me to his mate. Always a thorough gentleman and always with a side splitting line. We are so heartbroken you have gone but you will live on in all the stories David will be reminiscing over a drink or two in your honour.
Rest in peace dear friend
