… In loving memory of …. Yvonne Denees Campbell …

Yvonne passed away peacefully on 10th October, 2023 aged 83 years.

Formerly of Bellmere, Queensland and more recently a resident at

Crowley Aged Care, Ballina.

Loved sister and sister-in-law of Lorraine & Max, Barry & Jill, Desnee,

Narelle & Frank and Donald & Amanda.

Cherished Aunty of Carrianne, Matthew, Charysse, Katrina & Timothy and

Great Aunty to Alex, Billie, Ellie, Tillie & Abbie.

Yvonne was loved by many, a friend to all, but especially Sally, Peter,

Erin and Aveen.

Yvonne was a career nurse who worked for a major part of her career in

Renal Medicine, predominantly at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane.

During this time, she worked with equipment suppliers to greatly improve

blood filtration systems in dialysis equipment.

Yvonne spent time in England studying Childhood Renal Dialysis through a

Churchill Fellowship, and she also spent some years in Saudi Arabia

working as a nurse. Yvonne enjoyed nursing in the private sector for a

short time before settling into full-time retirement.

Yvonne maintained a special affection for horses, cats, and dogs

throughout her life.

She owned and enjoyed contact with horses for much of her life.

Yvonne was also an enthusiastic and dedicated carer for several dogs belonging

to her close friends. These dogs became ‘family’ to her.

She will be fondly remembered.

According to Yvonne’s wishes a private family service will be held.

I nursed with Yvonne at the Goondiwindi Hospital in the late 1950s & early 60s. She was so quiet, kind, gentle and graceful… I truly admired and loved her as a friend. I greatly admired her dedication and nursing achievements. I would like to express my most sincere condolences to all family members and friends of such a beautiful soul. R.I.P. my dear Yvonne. I will never forget you.🌹
